The 3M Cold Shrink Branch Splice QS-2001B lets you easily splice and tap extruded dielectric power cables rated up to 15kV. This silicone rubber splice provides economical, effective installations without force pushing, pulling or heat. For installations on cables with a conductor size range of #2 AWG through 250 kcmil cable, this adapter kit must be used in conjunction with the standard 3M Cold Shrink Splice Kit QS-2001B, building up the outside diameter of the cable insulation so that the splice body will fit the cable.
