Based on 3Ms field-proven cold shrink splices, this 15kV class inline splice transitions single-conductor PILC cable to Poly/EPR power cable. Meets IEEE Std. 404 and fits 4 (Al) - 4/0 (100%) or 4 (Al) - 1/0 (133%) PILC cable and 2 - 4/0 Poly/EPR cable.Can offer greater safety and reliability, yet easier to install than heat shrink or tape. Passes internal pressure tests at 45 PSI continuous operation. Uses a specially formulated cold shrink oil barrier tube.
